Targeted competences 

v Pupils will be able to talk, label, ask and answer questions about some kitchen appliances at the shop 

Steps:                        

1-Pupils get into the shop and have a short visit around it. This would make pupils remember what they learnt at class 

            2-Touch and label the kitchen items 

3- Teacher ask pupils to present some dishes by engaging them in short dialogues 

Example:        What’s this?   -This is a plate 

4-Pupils practise Yes/No question and get short answers 

Example:        -Is it a glass?  -Yes, it is.                 -Is it a tray?         No, it isn’t. It is a teapot 

5-Learners practise singular and plural form by asking two pupils to hold up one item from one hand and two items and more from the other hand and say what you hold in English 

Example:        -This is a spoon.                 -These are spoons 

6-Pupils engage in free short conversation ask and answer about other kitchen items.
