Let’s search for our words at the supermarket

On Monday, November 19th, 2012; the teacher of English Mr. Ahmani Younes at the Scientific School of Twanza in Ghardaia has organized a nice educative trip to Mr. Hadj Said Brothers supermarket. The journey took only ten minutes to get there.

The main goal to achieve is to encourage kids of Second Year elementary to talk and write about some kitchen objects at the supermarket and be close to the learnt objects at the supermarket rather than classroom.

And here is below an over view the trip’s activities:

1-       Search for the object at the supermarket and number the pictures in the worksheet of the group.

2-       Stick the word flashcard at each object.

3-       Unscramble words.

4-       Turn sentences from singular to plural.

The trip was really joyful to my kids. They moved freely at the supermarket though some clients were selling their goods there. Sometimes some clients looked at them and enjoyed their ambition when searching words. I think this nice mode was due to the great hospitality of Mr. Hadj Said Aissa and his friends.

  Again I say thank you to my school admins  and my two colleagues Mr. Noorddine Hadj Mesoud and Mohammed Khabacha who helped me a lot in my trip, and also to Mr. Hadjsaid Brothers supermarket and to all my kids. I love you.
